Ranbir Kapoor won’t be the Bloody Veer

There were a lot of speculations about who would play the role of a vampire in the upcoming Bollywood film Bloody Veer. It will be India’s first attempt at the blood and gore genre. First Shahid Kapoor was supposed to have been roped in for the film but later talks of Ranbir Kapoor doing the honours hit the marquee. Guess that made Siddharth Jain come out clean on his lead vampire. He revealed that Ranbir is not part of his film.

Jain told entertainment reporters in Hyderabad that Bloody Veer is yet to get its lead. Ranbir was never roped in for the film. All this was just a rumour. Jain also adds that thanks to the change in people’s outlook and sensibilities, he is not facing any hurdle in looking for actors for the film. They are holding meetings with various actors and a lot of people have appreciated the story. He feels great that he is not going through any kind of problems in casting people. Earlier, for his zombie flick Rock The Shaadi, he had to toil a lot to get suitable and willing actors. He thinks industry people have started to open up to such ideas as well. Explaining about Bloody Veer, Jain said that he wants fresh faces in the film who would go on to become India’s first vampire actors. Bloody Veer is loosely based on the Twilight series of the West.
